There is a new large Apple shop in Piazza Republica in Firenze.
It has all the usual Apple stuff at Apple prices.
You can claim VAT tax back when/if you leave the EU (10% I think). Just get a tax form filled out when you buy your Apple junk, and join the tax-back queue at the airport when you leave.
