Hotel President, Prato, Italy.
We intended to stay in Prato for a few days for work reasons (Melbourne’s Monash University has a campus there).
Eventually we decided to stay in Lucca and commute but I did investigate accessible hotels.
One possibility was the President Hotel. I put in the usual requests:
Non Smoking, King Bed, wheelchair accessible, must have a roll-in shower (Doccia filo al pavimento).
The price was pretty cheap reasonable in 2016: Price per room per night: 60,00€
This included free cancellation, not sure about breakfast.
I’m not entirely certain about the roll-in shower, so if that’s important you better doublecheck with the hotel.
