Birregurra is a charming little town about 60 km west of Geelong, in Victoria, Australia. We used to go there to eat at our friend George Biron’s wonderful restaurant, Sunnybrae, a couple of kilometres south of town. Sunnybrae is now called Brae and is owned by Dan Hunter. It is perfectly possible to drive from Melbourne, especially for lunch on the weekend. Hunter has built 6 “sustainable” cabins on site but I’m not sure if any are accessible, I expect not.

There is however a room with roll in shower in town at Butler’s guesthouse. The house is quite old and quaint and possibly a little spartan but perfectly pleasant.
