The cute Borough Market is just south of London Bridge (not Tower Bridge). It’s just near London Bridge station. There is a great falafel shop on Borough High Street, by the way, across the road from the market. It gets pretty crowded inside. There is quite nice street food. There is also a large fish restaurant called “Fish!” But I didn’t try it. Just on the north edge of the market is Southwark Cathedral. The accessible entrances from around on the Riverside. They have a largish platform lift gadget to get you in if you’re a wheelie. There is an entrance fee but you can avoid it if you don’t get their information pack. The Cathedral is only of average interest. The market also sells wine, delicatessen and vegetable food, bric-a-brac and fish amongst other things. The London Shard is just down the road.
