The little town of Bundanoon is about 75 km inland (West) of the coastal town of Kiama in the New South Wales south coast. It’s not far from Kangaroo Valley and a couple of hours from Sydney. It rains a lot. It has a bit of a Scottish heritage and I believe there is an annual Highland games. It’s usually quite wet. We stayed at the Malvern Valley country cottages stop The accessible cottages called Alicia and it is quite charming. The entrance is ramped and there is an extensive balcony. It is pretty spacious and allegedly sleeps 8. The main bed was way too high which we mentioned to our hosts. They seemed anxious to help and may have improved it. There was a roll-in shower of course and rolling paddocks with animals and an old truck. Did I mention it rains a lot. The photos remind me that it was quite a beautiful spot. The old stove reminds me of my grandma’s farm. You can collect eggs from the chooks. I’m sure we would have had a lot of fun if it hadn’t rained the whole time. You will probably have better luck.
